What are Rugby Minis Camps?
Rugby Minis Camps are action-packed, fun-filled holiday camps delivered during every school holiday.
Each day includes structured Rugby Minis sessions, sports, baking, arts & crafts, and themed activities, all delivered in a safe and energetic environment children love.
Where are Rugby Minis Camps located?
Our primary venue is:
Newcastle School for Boys Junior School
West Avenue, Gosforth
NE3 4ES
Please only attend the venue confirmed in your booking.
From time to time, we may operate from an alternative venue due to availability or operational requirements. For example, during certain holiday weeks we may run at Gosforth Junior High Academy. If a venue change applies to your booking, you will be notified in advance.
What ages do you cater to?
Rugby Minis Camps are designed for children aged 3–12 years old.
Children are grouped appropriately by age to ensure safe, structured and enjoyable activities.
How long is the camp day?
Our structured timetable runs from 10:00am–3:00pm.
Free wraparound care is available for all children aged 3–12 from:
8:00am–5:30pm
Wraparound care is included in the booking price.
A late collection fee of £7.50 per 15 minutes applies after 5:30pm.
What activities do you offer?
Children enjoy a mix of:

Our sessions focus on teamwork, confidence, skill development and fun.
Do you provide food and drinks?
Children must bring:

A refillable water bottle
We operate a strict no nut policy.
We encourage healthy food choices and regular hydration throughout the day.
What should my child wear and bring?
Please ensure your child brings:

Sports-friendly clothing

Trainers

A spare change of clothes

Weather-appropriate clothing

Sun hat and suncream in warmer months
Suncream should be applied before arrival. If you would like staff to reapply suncream at lunchtime, please provide written consent and a clearly labelled bottle.
During summer camps, we may run water activities — please pack spare clothing.
Are staff qualified?
Yes. All staff are DBS-checked, trained in safeguarding, and experienced in working with children.
At least one Paediatric First Aid qualified member of staff is on site at all times.
What happens if my child is unwell?
Children must not attend camp if unwell.

48-hour exclusion after sickness or diarrhoea

Children with fever or contagious illness should remain at home
If a child becomes unwell during camp, parents will be contacted for prompt collection.
Can my child attend for just one day?
Yes. You can book:

Single days

Multiple days

Full weeks
Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
What is your cancellation policy?
More than 7 days before camp start date:
A full refund will be issued as credit to use against a future camp.
Within 7 days of camp start date:
No refund or credit will be issued.
No refunds are given for non-attendance due to illness, holidays, or change of plans.
What is your behaviour policy?
We promote a positive and respectful environment.
If a child’s behaviour significantly impacts the safety or enjoyment of others:

Parents will be informed

Early collection may be required
-
If a child cannot return due to behaviour concerns, no refund will be issued
Do you offer sibling discounts?

Do you accept Childcare Vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare?
Yes, we accept Childcare Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare.
To pay using vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare:

If confirmation is not received at least 24 hours before camp, your booking may be cancelled.
If you cannot find us on your provider’s portal, please email us and we will assist.
What’s the difference between Rugby Minis Camps and Epic Camps?
Rugby Minis Camps (Ages 3–12)
Focused on our structured Rugby Minis sessions, baking and creative activities.
Epic Camps (Ages 3–13)
Offer a wider range of sports and activities, generally suited to slightly older children.
Both camps are designed to give children an energetic, safe and memorable holiday experience.
